Using your Ladders to Avoid the Chutes

September 21, 2017
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
 Add to Calendar

Phoenix Country Club - Phoenix
2901 N. 7th Street
Phoenix, AZ

In the children’s game, Chutes and Ladders, players are challenged to keep rising to the top, but are up against the constant “unknowns” at every turn. Your firm put together a solid strategic plan with goals and objectives to reach the ultimate success, but what about the uncertainty that is constantly looming in the background? Scenario planning challenges us to “plan” for the unknown environment and forces us to be vulnerable and accept that we are up against landscapes that shift daily in our industry. Not to be compared to
a strategic plan where we visualize the ideal future, in this session you will learn how to use scenario planning when an unexpected shift in the marketplace suddenly challenges your firm’s current plan. Participants will learn the six steps of scenario planning while interactively planning a game of chutes and ladders that will position their firms better for the future.
